Unlike many other systems, EkoTek’s radio mesh network provides accurate location of all alarms raised on the network. Alarms are communicated to other staff or security personnel and can be interfaced with a range of external devices. Staff can acknowledge the alarm reassuring staff help is on the way. In addition to conventional duress alarms, the system supports man down (tilt switch) and dead man alarms (dead-man periodically alerts the worker to press a button on the alarm unit to show that the worker is well). |
